Hopefully this is the last awkward introduction I’m going to have to make. To all our partners and readers out there, I’m the new Intern, splitting my time between The Carrot Patch (TCP) and AIQ as part of the marketing department. This is my first time writing on this blog, I hope you’ll bear with me and I promise what I have to say in the future will definitely be a lot more interesting.
Working in TCP has been great so far, every day is a new series of interesting encounters. As you surely know, it’s the holiday period and that means new faces are popping up daily after returning from their vacations (oh what I would give to go for one myself). And of course, along with returning colleagues come exotic goodies! A delicious new element has just been introduced to my frequent raids on the pantry, one that I intend to capitalise on fully. Add a growing mix of members in our co-working community and there’s never a dull day down at the hot desks. If you’re interested to see what it’s like to work outside the confines and restrictions of an office feel free to swing by and take a look at the space or try it out for yourself! If you do be sure to swing by and say Hi, I’m really friendly and always glad to have company.
Surprisingly one of my favourite places in the office is what I like to call the blue egg. This little pod is my personal spot of tranquillity in an otherwise bustling office, and one that I frequently go to if I need to clear my head or search for inspiration. Imagine lounging in a sea of soft velvet cushions. Add some hot coffee on a cold day and you have a recipe for unparalleled relaxation; trust me, I’ve almost drifted off to sleep a couple of times in there. On second thought advertising it here doesn’t seem like such a good idea. I’m already seeing competitors for the space and I foresee having to do a whole lot more sharing in the future. Kidding aside, cosy little corners like this are all over the place for your use. Just remember as you enjoy them, you heard it here first.
I’ll be doing a lot of social media content management over the next few months, so you’ll have a lot more chances to get to know me better and I hope you’ll enjoy what I come up with! Stay posted for new blog posts and keep your eyes peeled on our other accounts. The New Year is coming soon and things are about to get a lot more interesting both at TCP and for our sister company AIQ (if you’re interested check them out at http://www.aiq.tech/ , their work is super interesting and I’ll share more about it when I get the chance).
That’s all for now. Stay tuned for the latest news straight from The Carrot Patch!
